Community Partners’ Incubator Services provides a full range of fiscal, administrative and capacity-building services to 130 currently sponsored projects. Projects cover a broad spectrum of issues and communities and reflect the fabric of the greater Los Angeles area. Projects are working to solve community challenges in a range of areas, including education, the arts, health care, the environment, animal welfare, public policy and civic engagement. Project Advisory BoardsOne of the keys to success for any community initiative is strong leadership at the helm. We carefully screen prospective Project Leaders for their leadership capacity and strongly encourage them to create an advisory board. (Community Partners’ Board of Directors assumes legal and financial responsibility for all project operations.) Project advisors provide expertise and guidance in areas such as strategic planning, program development, service delivery, marketing and communications, fundraising, staffing, leadership development, and financial and organizational management. The people who serve as project advisors are business and community leaders, clients from the community served by the project and professionals in areas related to the project. If you are interested in demonstrating your commitment to Los Angeles and the Southern California region, we invite you to serve as an advisor to a Community Partners project. As a Project Advisor you will share your time and expertise to help the project achieve its goals. Visit the current projects area of this website to learn more about our projects.
