Get Involved

The sprawling Los Angeles metropolis comprises one of the most dynamic and diverse urban centers in the world. The challenges we face rival the region’s size, complexity and diversity. Fortunately, a sweeping range of community leaders from all walks of life who have innovative ideas for improving our communities are working to meet these challenges.

We need your help to support them! Involvement can take many forms – from writing a check to becoming a Project Advisor to partnering with us on an initiative – and have immense value in making Los Angeles a better place to live. See below for ways to become involved with Community Partners, our projects or other community-building groups in Southern California.

Donations to Fiscal Sponsorship projects	Donations to our Fiscal Sponsorship Projects are a tremendous help and can take many forms: Gifts made with cash, checks or credit cards; Pledges spread your giving throughout the year; In-kind contributions of materials, such as office furniture, computers, office supplies, etc. (Be sure to check with the project first, to ensure the material is needed.)
Donations to Community Partners	Donations to Community Partners allow us to focus our energies on providing top-notch service to our projects and partners.
Starting your own project	Becoming a social entrepreneur can be difficult and frustrating. Check out our Fiscal Sponsorship section to figure out if Community Partners is the right place for you.
Partnering with us on an initiative	Bring your idea for a Strategic Initiative and access Community Partners’ years of experience in skilled coordination, support and technical assistance for complex community initiatives and networks.
Volunteering	There are limited opportunities to volunteer directly with Community Partners, but our projects always need passionate, committed people to help out. Find out what it means to be a Project Advisor. Also check out our Volunteering Resources page for more ways to get involved in L.A.
